I was even able to convince him to head down to the field immediately after the photo for the game - or at least, to the pizza place right down the street from the field, then to the playground immediately next to the field, then to a seat right next to the dugout, then... home.
Ah well. His 2012 playing career appears to have been just one game shy of Archibald "Moonlight" Graham's. Maybe James Earl Jones will play Finn in the movie too.
